Abstract

The effect of high-voltage pulsed discharge on the crystal lattice and the surface of quartz grains at different values of energy supplied into the space between electrodes, pulse duration, and rate of energy supply was studied. The nature of processes of grain surface activation and changes in the crystal lattice of quartz related to the discharge effect were established. The practical recommendations on the use of the studied processes are given.
