Dissolved methane in the Arctic shallow shelf waters

Abstract

The results of high-precision dissolved methane concentration measurements in the shelf zone of Eastern-Siberian sea allow concluding that the role of Arctic Ocean seas' shallow zone as a source of possible methane emission to the atmosphere can be considered substantially underestimated.
