Abstract
The effect of B2O3 additives on the properties of the cake used as a flux and forming a melt in sintering of diopside ceramics in the temperature interval of 900-1500°C is studied. The effect of the feldspar additives on the melt thus obtained is analyzed. The possibility of reducing the firing temperature to 950-1050°C and expanding to 50°C the interval of the sintered state of diopside porcelain is shown.
