Diffractional antenna-radomes for radar sensor: A review

Abstract

The radiation and frequency characteristics of radome-like and dome-like mm-wave Fresnel zone plate (FZP) lens and antennas were analyzed. A non-metallic reflecting FZP-like lens and antenna on a curvilinear surface and omnidirectional antennas were discussed. The specifications of the parabolic antenna were compared with the diffraction antenna.
