Differential voltammetric determination of B1 vitamin in vitaminized dressing and premix

Abstract

The technique of B1 vitamin determination in vitaminized dressing and premix is described. For quantitative determination a method of a direct voltammetry is used, it is based on thiamine restoration under E=-1,3 V. Voltammetric curves were obtained in a differential mode. Optimal background electrolyte was 0,1 M Na2HPO4. Linear character of calibration diagrams was observed in a range of concentration from 2 up to 20 mg/l. The limit of detection calculated by 3s-criterion (cmin,p) is equal to 0,58 mg/l, the bottom border of determination - 0,85 mg/l. Influence of accompanying impurity metal ions and organic substances is estimated. The method allows to carry out determination during 20-30 minutes. The offered method can be applied for complex analysis of multicomponent mixes: pharmacological and polyvitaminic preparations, active biologic dressings, a vitaminized children's meal and others.
