Abstract
The results of the experimental investigations of variations in the spectral characteristics of electromagnetic signals (EMSs) generated by rock specimens from the Tashtagol iron-ore deposit and quartz-containing diabase in the process of uniaxial compression are presented. Patterns in the variations of EMS amplitude-frequency parameters in the process of destruction zone development and when approaching the ultimate strength of the specimens are revealed.
