Abstract
The device for gas sampling (DGS) is intended for shaping a molecular beam from heated gas flow at atmospheric pressure. The shaped supersonic molecular beam moves into the ion source of a mass spectrometer for gas composition analysis. The DGS operation and its main performances are described.
