N2 - This paper describes the algorithm of positioning a vehicle on a route that uses only limited information about the transport infrastructure. The key idea is the thesis that an algorithm, which does not have cartographic information about the structure of the road network, can be used for tasks related to the definition of the next waypoint, such as sound notification of the current and the next public transport's stops.
