Abstract

Within the concept of physical mesomechanics of materials and fracture mechanics, the peculiarities of deformation and failure of heat resistant steel 25Kh1M1F with a network of thermal fatigue cracks are investigated. The main regularities and characteristic stages of the deformation process in specimens from steel 25Kh1M1F affected volumetrically by a network of cracks under localisation of plastic strain are found and described numerically.
