### Abstract

An algorithm for determining the parameters of a two-terminal network, which is used as the equivalent circuit of an electric discharge, is described. The algorithm is based on the solution of an inverse ill-posed problem - the determination of the kernel of the Duhamel integral for Fredholm's equation of the first kind. In solving the problem, a fast Fourier transform algorithm is used, which greatly shortens the time required to process the algorithm. Examples of the solution of model problems for equivalent electric circuits of the first and second orders are presented, which demonstrate the versatility and effectiveness of the algorithm.
