Abstract
The proposed basic inspection procedure is based on the combination of frontier infrared hardware and sophisticated data processing algorithms. This technology is intended for detecting hidden corrosion in piping, boilers and above-ground tanks by analysing peculiarities in transient temperature evolution that follows external thermal stimulation of the object to be tested.
