Abstract
Experimental investigation of the time dynamics of the deflection of the microtron electron beam by the surface of a dielectric has been performed under conditions when a portion of the beam generates a local deflecting charge in the target. The maximum deflection angles are given for the targets made of Plexiglas, polystyrene, glass, boron nitride, mica, barium titanate and Pb2TaO6 ceramics. The time dynamics of the angular distributions of the electrons deflected has been observed in a special geometry of the interaction of the electron beam with the target.
