Current-algebra calculation of low-energy pion electro- and photoproduction for physical pions

Abstract

A hard-pion current-algebra model is employed to derive expressions for the pion electro- and photoproduction amplitudes. The low-energy predictions for the multipole amplitudes and differential cross sections of photoproduction are analysed and compared with the experimental data.
