Abstract

The method of analysis of ceramics isothermal sintering using the evaluation parameter n is proposed. The parameter n is shown to be defined by solid phase characteristics, such as chemical and mineral composition, specific surface, surface tension, as well as the parameters of the liquid phase formed at sintering (viscosity, surface tension etc.). As shown, n determination helps to find optimum processing regimes (maximum temperature, residence time corresponding to maximum density and strength characteristics of the products). The method is simple, reliable and can be used in research and industrial areas.
