Abstract
To describe the process of the coating synthesis from chemically reacting mixtures and understand the fundamental physical regularities controlling the composition and properties formation in technological situations,the macro kinetic approach is applicable. When chemical reactions proceed in solid phase, it is necessary to pay attention to the stress-strain state of the specimen. By taking into account the interrelation between various physical phenomena we come to the coupling problem. In this report, the problem on reaction front propagation is discussed for the coating synthesis. This situation is typical, for example, for intermetallic coating synthesis initiated by laser or electron beams.The asymptotic solution of the type of travelling wave is constructed in the approximation of small strains for the conditions of reaction propagation along a thin layer placed on the plane substrate. The dimensional parameters, which affect the reaction front propagation, are determined. The presence of different modes for various parameter areas is shown.
