Abstract
Experience in the operation and maintenance of 300D90 pumps under Soviet Central Asian conditions showed that in the case of major overhaul the inner surfaces of the housing components of the pumps have to be restored by surfacing and the rotors and slot seals have to be replaced by those reconditioned in the repair works. These components are generally inferior in quality to the new ones. The parameters of the overhauled pumps are also found to be lower. In order to formulate general technical specifications for overhaul, admissible deviations of pressure heads and efficiency were determined.
