Complex signal time position determination in a medium with dispersion and absorption

Abstract

A method is considered of determining pulse time position in its propagation in a dispersive medium under the conditions of additive gaussian interference. The method is based on analysis of the group delay functions statistics. Analytical expressions are given for estimates variance of time position.
