Abstract

Branching ratios and partial decay widths for the fluorescent decay of Kr III 4p 3np states have been calculated. Besides the non-correlative transitions of the type Kr III 4p 3np to Kr III 4p 3n's/d also the purely correlative transitions of the type Kr III 4p 3np to Kr III 4s4p 5 have been considered. The partial widths of the correlative transitions turned out to be non-negligible in many cases.
