Abstract
The combustion process of ultrafine aluminum powder with average particle diameter ≈0.1 μm in a closed bomb at the initial air pressure 1 atm is studied. The combustion runs by the two stages as in open air. It is shown that in the two-stage combustion process of a ultrafine aluminum powder in a bomb, the mass content of chemically bound nitrogen in final products increases by 20% in terms of aluminum nitride.
