Coherent Schwinger scattering of fast neutrons versus coherent elastic nuclear scattering in a crystal

Abstract

For the first time it is shown that coherent effects in particle scattering in an aligned crystal can appear due to nuclear interaction. The coherent effects at both Schwinger and coherent elastic nuclear scattering have been studied as well as the interference of fast neutrons in aligned thin crystals.
