Abstract
The results of measurements of the coherent diffraction radiation yield generated by femtosecond electron beam are presented. It is shown that the simulated and experimental data agreed quite well. The coherent diffraction radiation can be considered as a real candidate to develop a source of radiation in far-infrared and terahertz range.
