Chromatographic properties of composite stationary phases based on polyethylene glycol and metal acetylacetonates

Abstract

The Chromatographic properties of composite stationary phases based on polyethylene glycol (PEG 20M) and copper, aluminum, and nickel acetylacetonates were studied. The separation efficiency, sorption capacity, and selectivity for members of individual homologous series and for compounds belonging to different series (alkanes, alkenes, and alkylbenzenes) were determined. The experimental data obtained were used to suggest the structure of the composite phase containing nickel acetylacetonate.
