Abstract
A study was made of the behavior of glycols and transformer oil in the plasma of a high-voltage electrical discharge. In particular, the kinetics of formation of the gaseous products, their composition and quantity, and the composition of the liquid products forming during electrical breakdown of the fluids tested were investigated, as well as the effect of periclase on the stability of the working fluids during electrophysical fracturing.
