Characteristics of the pre-ionizer model for pulsed and pulse-periodic gas lasers

Abstract

Results of testing of three new insulated cables for the production of pre-ionizers of gas lasers and their comparison with the results of RK-50-4 industrial cable testing are considered. It is shown that the discharge current of these cables is 2-5 times greater then one of RK-50-4 cable and the lifetime is 3 times greater than one of industrial cable under the same conditions.
