Changing the characteristics of the ignition process of hydrocarbon fuels when used in the third component of charcoal

Abstract

The results of the experimental studies of the ignition process of the liquid composite fuels based on water, coal and charcoal have been presented. The effect of the characteristic drops size (d, mm) and the oxidizer temperature (T, K) on the ignition timing (tign, s) has been studied. It has been established that the introduction of charcoal into the suspension leads to a significant decrease in the ignition delay time of the studied compositions.
