Abstract
Bent crystals have several uses in high-energy physics. They can be used for the repeated extraction of 500 GeV SSC protons from a beam halo and for the efficient injection of beam particles to a crystal. The changes in the polarization of a 250-GeV/s RHIC proton beam extracted using bent crystals are presented.
