Abstract
The time and spectrometric characteristics of TF-1 and KRS-6 Cerenkov total-absorption spectrometers with radiators were investigated using a monochromatic electron beam of a pair magnetic gamma spectrometer. In the energy range 200-600 Mev an energy resolution of 25-15% was obtained for TF-1 and 24-14% for KRS-6; a time resolution of 2 pi equals 2-3. 5 nsec was obtained for both TF-1 and KRS-6. The time shift was less than 0. 5 nsec in the 100-800 Mev energy range. The effect of the reflecting radiator coating on the time and spectrometric characteristics was investigated.
