The authors carried out mathematical modeling of the plasmothermal processing of dispersed aqueous solutions of metal salts. A system of equations describing the behavior of droplets of the solution in the plasma flow was compiled and solved. It is shown that the limiting (determining) stage of the examined process at T greater than 1500 K is the stage of evaporation of the droplets. The conditions of production of metal oxides using the examined method are recommended.
