abstract = "This work considers the problems in the process of schedule creation for ground urban public transport in a small town with a predominance of motor transport, including problems of collecting experimental data and obtaining a mathematical tool for verification of the declared characteristics of the existing and future routes. The article also describes the research of passenger traffic and features of sections at the road network. The aim of the work is identification of requirements for a module of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) based on satellite navigation system GLONASS. The module will allow one to work with public transports schedules. During the work, the methods to calculate the parameters for schedule creation on the basis of data from GLONASS devices were proposed.",
