Abstract

A possibility to prepare wurtzite-like boron nitride with a microcomposite structure in the form of nanotube packages using low-temperature proton-carbon treatment has been studied. It is shown that the formation of nanotube packages at a distance from the treatment zone is due to collective shear deformations of layers from self-assembling blocks.
