ATHLET Tien Shan experimental setup for comprehensive investigation of cosmic rays

Abstract

We discuss the current status of the new experimental complex ATHLET which includes three experimental setups for detecting extensive air showers, located at different altitudes above sea level: HADRON-M at the Tien Shan Mountain Scientific Station of Lebedev Physical Institute (3340 m), PSKL at Intermediate Cosmic Ray Station of Institute of Physics and Technology of Kazakhstan (1750 m), and KazNU of Al-Faraby Kazakh National University in Almaty (850 m).
