N2 - Possibility of the employment of a linear coupling equation of mass attenuation coefficients for two energies for the density determination by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry of multicomponent samples with variable content was theoretically approved and experimentally demonstrated. The relative error of the density measurements of aqueous-salt and aqueous-alcoholic solutions is 0.5% with a maximum change of the mass attenuation coefficient for the Kα line of zirconium being 70%.
