Approximate estimators for characteristics of fuel ignition by radiant flux through an obstacle with different properties

Abstract

Analytical solution is given for the problem about fuel ignition by radiant flux in the conjugate statement. The model generalizes and adds the earlier obtained results. Ignition through perfectly transparent and perfectly opaque obstacles is considered. Approximate formulas are obtained for estimating the time and temperature of the chemical reaction joining as well as the time and temperature of the quasi-stationary equilibrium break-down in different limiting cases.
