Application of Laser-Speckle Correlation Method for Blood Coagulation Estimation

Abstract

The paper presents the study of the influence of plasma volume on the results of measuring the blood clotting time by the method of laser speckle imaging. The results of clotting time measuring using the method of laser speckle imaging are compared with those obtained with the practically used coagulometer 'Minilab 701'. The statistics of results prove the capability of method of laser speckle image for measuring the clotting time of blood.
