    Abstract

    An installation including a cytodiffractometer and a dye laser pumped by copper-vapor laser was used to check if it is possible to extend the concept of singlet oxygen photogeneration as a primary act of cell response to irradiation within the oxygen absorption band to laser therapy for the same spectrum band. This assumption is supported by the results obtained.
