Abstract
The applicability of 3D-printed plastic compensators for modulation of medical electron beam parameters was studied experimentally. The process of optimizing the shape and size of the compensator to attain the required beam parameters was described. It was shown that the depth dose distribution modulation using a 3D-printed plastic compensator provides effective radiation protection of critical organs.
