Abstract
The interaction between a homogeneous alternating magnetic field and a local axisymmetric conducting object of arbitrary shape randomly oriented in space is studied. The results of this interaction are analyzed for the case when the direction of the magnetic field vector of the exciting magnetic field does not coincide with the axes of the object in order to discover possibilities of using such magnetization in the solution of problems of eddy-current quality control.
