Analysis of microwave energy storage and extraction in multimode cavities

Abstract

Results are presented on considerable influence of the intertype connection on the processes of storage and extraction of microwave energy in multimode cavities. Obtained analytical expressions for the wave amplitudes in and outside the resonators allow to carry out calculations necessary for the design of the formers of power radio pulses with nanosecond duration and large energy store in pulses.
