Abstract

The method of microtron electron bunch charge accumulation for a far infrared free electron laser operation is studied. Microtron electron bunches are added by the achromatic and isochronous round-trip magnetic system. The electron bunch peak current will grow proportionally to the number of bunches added. The growth of the small signal FEL gain is estimated.
