In the paper, the experience in using a computer system to estimate the optimum activity of different commercial catalysts with allowance for the process regime and feedstock composition is described. The system is based on programmed physicochemical and kinetic regularities of hydrocarbons conversion on platinum catalysts. The effect of the reforming regime on the rate of catalyst deactivation was studied. The results of calculations of the catalyst deactivation rate at different units are presented.
