Abstract
There have been produced study manuals, which present a well methodologically-grounded teaching approach to the organization of self-study work of first-year students. The work with these study manuals contributes to the effectiveness of students' cognitive activity, develops their creative abilities and increases the quality of fundamental education as a result of self-study work.
