Abstract

The block diagram and test results are presented for the breadboard model of a radar on the basis of the centimeter-wave band Gunn oscillator with a sounding pulse duration of 10 ns and a pulse power of 30 W. Experimental estimations are provided for characteristics of target detection against the background of the receiver self-noise, taking into account the influence of a diffuse surface.
