Abstract
We present here the results obtained during the development of a portable device for rapid assessment of the functional state of the homeostasis system based on analysis of capillary blood. Vascular-thrombocytic hemostasis was assessed in volunteers in real time using the device. The results of piezocoagulography conducted using the portable device were compared to the results obtained by low-frequency piezothromboelastography (Mednord ARP-01M). These data showed a strong correlation, evidencing the potential of the method and device developed here for studies of the functional state of the hemostasis system at the patient’s bedside or outside hospital.
