Abstract

The paper describes a generator, providing the programmed set of the amplitude and frequency of nanosecond light pulses within the 200/25600 ns range. Also, the delay of synchropulses is provided in this range. The temperature instability of the amplitude of the light pulse is ≤0.06%/°C. The time instability of the light pulse is ≤10 ps/°C. This generator successfully operates as a part of the computer-aided system to test a Cherenkov detector designed to register wide atmospheric showers.
