A method for determining the depth of concrete surface fractures by electric response to elastic impact excitation

Studies of the transformation and attenuation of spectral components of electric responses to the elastic impact excitation of a concrete sample with artificial fractures of different depths are carried out. A generalized criterion for determining the depth of open fractures in concrete is proposed based on the analysis of results using the correlation and time-frequency analysis.
