A computational algorithm for designing an active optical system with an image intensifier

Abstract

A simple computational algorithm for designing an active optical system with a metal vapor laser-based image intensifier is presented. The algorithm has been tested by means of experiments on visualization of objects whose linear dimensions are known .The outcomes of the test trials are evidence of the feasibility of a practical implementation of the computational algorithm for designing a laser monitor or a laser projection microscope.
