660 keV gamma-quanta counter based on multichannel GaAs detector

Abstract

Results obtained from development, testing, and evaluation of 660 keV gamma-quantum counter based on multichannel GaAs detector are presented. The counter operated in quantum count mode and counting rate up to 1000 quanta/(s·cm3) have been demonstrated for 30cm distance between detector and 660 keV gamma-quanta source.
