TPU’s Young Scientist Develops New Medication Form against H1N1 Flu Virus

    Press/Media: Research

A young scientist from Tomsk Polytechnic University Alexander Timin, a junior research fellow at the RASA Center based in TPU New Medication Forms Laboratory, is developing a new method for dealing with the H1N1 flu virus. The method is not to search for new vaccines against influenza, but to “teach” the patient's immune system to produce interferons - proteins that make our body get immune to the virus.
