Flaw detector for testing Russian composite aircrafts

    A thermal flaw detector developed at Tomsk Polytechnic University is planned to be used in the manufacturing of a new aircraft which will replace famous AN-2. The new model fully consists of composite materials. It is developed by the Siberian Aeronautical Research Institute named after S. A. Chaplygin (SibNIA), Novosibirsk Russia.
